What is resolution?
Resolution is the number of pixels per inch, the higher the resolution, the the higher the quality.
What resolutions are appropriate for print and for web?
300ppi for print, 72ppi for web.
How does resolution affect our ability to scale or edit and image?
Depending on the image resolution you have taken, it will only be able to be enlarged a certain amount before the pixels are unable to create a clear image, and start to make the overall image blur.
What file formats are most appropriate for web and why?
TIFF. files are the best for pixel based (bitmap) images, you are able to create a larger image with these files, however no quality is lost.
What file formats are most are most appropriate for editing photoshop in the future, and why?
JPEG is the best for reducing file size, a slight amount of quality is lost however, due to the down grading of resolution.
Explain CMYK and RGB, what are they used for and why?
CMYK: CMYK refers to the four inks used in colour printing: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key. The CMYK is best for when viewing on an electronic device.
RGB: RGB is red, green, and blue light that are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colours. The RGB colour is best for when printing onto paper.

Grey scale is method of representing brightness only from white to black image. Unlike a simple black and white image representing a colour in only two values of black and white.
Which tool did you like best and which ones did you find hard to use?
I found the best tool was quick selection, as it was simple and easy to use. The hardest tools for me were the morphing tools we used when we were turning the man into a woman, we had to morph the face to create a feminine look, however it was easy to go a step to far and go over board as it was a delicate method that needed to be used.
